Radiation Oncology plays a vital role in the multidisciplinary management of cancer, contributing to nearly 60–70% of all cancer treatments worldwide. With continuous advancements in imaging, planning, and delivery systems, radiation therapy has become more precise, effective, and patient-friendly than ever before.
The Fellowship in Radiation Oncology at HCG is designed to provide comprehensive training in contemporary radiation therapy techniques and evidence-based cancer care. The program equips oncologists with clinical expertise in advanced modalities such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SRS/SBRT, proton therapy, and brachytherapy.
With HCG’s pioneering use of cutting-edge technology and its multidisciplinary approach to cancer management, fellows will gain immersive exposure to all aspects of radiation oncology—from simulation and planning to treatment execution and patient follow-up. The fellowship nurtures professionals who can combine precision, compassion, and innovation in treating cancer patients.
By the end of this fellowship, participants will be able to:
MD / DNB in Radiation Oncology (or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council).
