Course Overview

In modern oncology, the goal of cancer treatment extends beyond saving lives — it is about restoring form, function, and confidence. As cancer surgeries become more advanced, the demand for skilled reconstructive and oncoplastic surgeons who can combine oncological safety with aesthetic and functional restoration has never been higher.

The Fellowship in Onco Reconstruction & Onco Plastic Surgery at HCG is designed to train surgeons in advanced reconstructive and aesthetic techniques following oncologic resections. This program integrates surgical oncology with plastic and reconstructive principles, enabling fellows to deliver holistic, patient-centered cancer care.

With access to HCG’s high surgical volumes, cutting-edge technology, and mentorship under leading oncologic and plastic surgeons, fellows gain comprehensive, hands-on exposure to microvascular, flap-based, and minimally invasive reconstruction procedures. The program emphasizes both functional rehabilitation and cosmetic restoration — helping survivors reclaim their quality of life and identity.
