Cancer care extends far beyond active treatment; addressing physical pain, emotional distress, and overall quality of life is vital at every stage of the disease. Palliative care plays a crucial role in providing holistic, compassionate, and specialized support to patients facing life-limiting oncological conditions and their families.

TThe Fellowship in Palliative Care at HCG CARE is designed to equip medical professionals with advanced clinical skills in pain management, end-of-life care, and symptom control. Trainees will gain hands-on experience in managing complex physical symptoms and delivering compassionate home and hospice care.

With HCG’s comprehensive clinical environment and expert multidisciplinary team, fellows receive high-volume practical training and mentorship, preparing them to integrate palliative medicine into clinical practice effectively.

Doctors holding an MBBS, MD, or DNB degree from any recognized stream who are interested in expanding their expertise in palliative and pain medicine are eligible to apply.

You will gain comprehensive hands-on exposure to advanced pain management, end-of-life care protocols, inpatient and home-based hospice care, interdisciplinary team communication, and ethical decision-making in oncology.

The program is a full-time fellowship with a duration of 12 months.
