He is currently the Program Director and Clinical Lead of the Department of Deglutology and Speech-Language Pathology at HCG Cancer Centre, Bengaluru, specialising in neurorehabilitation, clinical establishment, and head and neck onco-rehabilitation. Dr. Prasanna has completed an MBSImp Certification and Foundation Course from Langmore FEES and takes pride in providing personalised care and attention to every patient he attends.

Dr. Prasanna was the recipient of the ‘Young Investigator Award’ for the Innovation Category at AOCNR 2020.

Dr. Prasanna has published 3 letters to editors, 2 original research, 1 case report and 1 review article with various research groups across the country on neuro and onco-rehabilitation.

He is a task force member of the Indian Federation of Neurorehabilitation (IFNR), Executive Council Member of Indian Speech and Hearing Association – Bengaluru Chapter, Founding General Secretary of Society for Feeding and Swallowing Disorders.

He has delivered more than 20 invited talks in national and international webinars, seminars and conferences. He has conducted masterclasses on various topics.

He is conducting a 1-year fellowship program on Onco-deglutology and an online certificate course on onco-deglutology and Videofluoroscopy.

He has conducted 6 masterclasses in Speech and Swallow Rehabilitation in Oncology and other related domains.

He currently leads the capacity building ECHO programs on dysphagia.
