With over 20 years of experience, she has been a pioneer in digital pathology in India, leading efforts to modernise diagnostic services through advanced technologies. Dr. Veena has contributed to over 90,000 cancer diagnoses, significantly improving accuracy and efficiency in pathology reporting. Her areas of expertise include oncopathology, molecular diagnostics, and digital image analysis. She has also been actively involved in mentoring upcoming pathologists and developing structured learning programs to advance digital pathology education in India. Recognised nationally for her contributions, Dr. Veena continues to drive innovation in cancer diagnostics, ensuring better access and quality care for patients across the country.
