HCG College:

The HCG College of Allied Health Sciences builds on the vast clinical experience of its doctors, clinical data, and research capabilities (In-house and in collaboration with other Institutions) to generate knowledge useful for students and for enhancing practice, therapies, and patient outcomes.

HCG College of Allied Health Sciences offers select programs such as Undergraduate courses, Postgraduate courses, and Fellowships courses in various sub-specialities of Oncology. It has a student base of more than 200 students. Apart from the above programs, the Center curates, develops, and delivers several CME courses and organizes seminars, conferences, and conclaves on various topics of interest to serve the community of Oncologists and Nurses in India and abroad.

Program Overview

• B.Sc. Radiation Therapy Technology

Overview: The Medical Radiation Physics Programme offers specialized training for aspiring Radiotherapy Technology graduates. As a part of the Radiation Oncology team, Radiotherapy Technologists prepare patient immobilization and operate imaging and treatment modalities for patient who requires radiation, by ensuring overall safety procedures, such as monitoring patients during their treatments and checking for unusual reactions to the treatment. Radiotherapy Technologists are responsible for the accurate delivery of radiotherapy to cancer patients.

• B.Sc. Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology

Overview: After completion of the course B.Sc. In Anaesthesia & OT Technology, the individual will find a challenging career in a hospital, nursing home, Intensive Care Unit, technician & also physician assistant, etc. Graduates are eligible for employment overseas where their qualifications, training and experience are highly regarded. With further experience, graduates may be employed by medical equipment manufacturers and development specialists.

• B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology

Overview: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology offered is a 3-year course. The program aims to provide efficient and balanced training in laboratory medicine. Students receive stimulating, challenging and supportive academic experiences alongside fulfilling career options.

• Bachelor's in Hospital Administration

Overview: BHA or Bachelor in Hospital Administration is a three-year undergraduate degree designed for students who are looking for a career in management, administration, and leadership of hospitals, healthcare systems, and hospital networks. This course prepares healthcare professionals to respond effectively to the diverse and ever-changing healthcare sector.
